Araselé:
the name this brand was born from.
Selé Bloom is a Ga name worn into an apothecary. Named for Araselé — a name carried by Amaliah’s ancestors and now carried forward through every blend made by hand.

I came to herbal medicine the way most women who need it do: through my own body. Living with SLE Lupus, POTS, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, and migraines — conditions that mainstream medicine managed but rarely tended. I turned to plants. Not as alternatives, but as companions. Things that met me where I was.

I am British Ghanaian, Ga by heritage, and the traditions I grew up alongside — prekese in soups, hibiscus in cups, herbs passed between women as quietly as recipes — were always there. What Selé Bloom became was the formal acknowledgement of what I had always known: that my body’s history and my body’s needs were not separate things.
